Late 18th century
Gold pair cased repousse watch with date indication
This watch is an English manufacture for the Dutch market with a special signature and the use of a cockerel fixed on two feet. This is a sign of recognition on watches made for the continental market, as English watches for the local market have only one foot for fixing the cock, a protection system for the spiral balance.
