One of the success stories of the second half of the 1950s in Italy
was the Fiat 500, a small city car steeped in Dolce Vita. The
city car craze was in full swing, when in 1969,
Autobianchi presented its first mass-production model,
the A112, designed to compete with the Austin Mini Cooper in Italy.
The head of Fiat's racing division, Carlo Abarth,
saw the potential for improvement in this city car as soon as it came out...
The 1971 Turin Motor Show saw the presentation of the sporty
of the sports version: the A112 Abarth. The little city car saw its
power from 44 to 58 bhp, thanks to an optimization of the
original engine. A few years later, the engine would be overhauled
once again, increasing its power to 70 hp!
Our example was purchased at our Autumn Sale
2020 by Mr. A., who has since driven it for almost 3,000 km.

for its urban capabilities, and its gearbox with
5-speed gearbox (specific to Series V and VI).
Today, the car is in fine overall condition, its paintwork (recently redone) is of good quality, as is its interior.
