In 1981, Gilles Poncin of Ardennes Equipement,
presented an amphibious 6-wheel-drive vehicle powered by a
Citroën 2 CV engine, named VP 2000, aimed at customers
customers who want to be truly mobile on all types of terrain
(firefighters, first-aiders, mountain trackers...), this crazy bet
ultimately failed to live up to expectations, and the concept only
survived until 1991.
Our example is one of the most accomplished, featuring
engine cooling fans, and modified gearbox sprockets for more
