"A very nice car for such an affordable price!

"A very nice car for such an affordable price!"

One of the last successes of the French Hotchkiss brand
was presented in 1950, 4 years before the death of its
automobile department. The Anjou, replacing the Artois, brought a breath of fresh air
a breath of fresh air into the range, but would be the last production sedan
of the Saint-Denis-based brand.
Our example was purchased by the current collector in 1996,
and was fully restored in the early 2000s. The
car was then registered 592 AG 18, apparently its original
number, dated around mid-1953.
From a cosmetic point of view, the paintwork is very nice, in a
Mercedes-Benz color scheme. The upholstery, which was also
is in excellent condition. Please note that for
for driving comfort, the front bench seat has been
fabric, unlike the rest of the interior.
The car runs well, despite being used a little less
in recent years. During the restoration, an electronic ignition
ignition was fitted to make it more reliable.
An interesting post-war sedan in superb condition,
and a very reasonable price!

Cosmetically, the paintwork is very attractive, in a Mercedes-
