Brown lacquer and mother-of-pearl inlay box
Rectangular in shape, decorated with mother-of-pearl and gold lacquer inlays of birds, rabbits, deer and peacocks among flowers. Underlined by a frieze of sapele latticework. The composition stands out against a brown-black background. Red lacquered interior. The lock and hinges in repoussé copper with floral decoration.
