Suite of two bronze sculptures with a golden-brown patina, edition fonts, resting on square onyx bases.
Incised signatures "A Léonard Sclp" and foundry stamps "Susse Frères Éditeurs
Paris".

H. 11 3/8 in. and 12 in. (with base) (Slight patina wear, very small chips on the edges of the base)

A pair of bronze sculptures, onyx bases.
Signed and stamped.

HISTORY The table centrepiece "La danse", a complete series of eight bronze dancers, was presented by the President of the French Republic to the Empress of Russia on the occasion of her visit to the Paris Exposition Universelle in 1900.
