In-4, gray-green morocco, smooth spine, author, illustrator, title and date in gilt, title and names stamped in black on both boards, gilt and black fillet decoration extended over the 2 boards and spine, garnet suede lining and endpapers, gilt fillet bordering the counterslips, gilt edges on witnesses, half-maroquin banded folder, case [Alix]. (minor rubbing to slipcase, bump to tail of sleeve, slight dark mark to tail of spine).
Edition illustrated with 35 original drypoints by Jean-Louis Boussingault.
Limited edition of 45 numbered copies on Hollande Van Gelder vellum paper, this one numbered 12, and 10 hors commerce.
