(engraved title), 48 plates, 19th c. long-grained red half-maroquin, smooth spine, gilt title, gilt monogram repeated, corners restored (scattered foxing).
A very fine and rare suite of women's costumes, comprising 48 plates engraved on copper by V. Hollar (1607-1677) between 1642 and 1644.
The plates are trimmed in the margins and neatly mounted on strong paper.
