MANUSCRIT, Jugement contre les Nés Romme, Duquesnoy et autres, Paris 29 prairial III (18 juin 1795)| notebook of 19 pages in-fol. mounted on tabs, and bound in one vol. in-fol. with transcription and typed comments, and attached documents, brown half calf with corners.
Judgment and condemnation of the Montagnard deputies, arrested after the Prairial insurrection. "Extrait des Minutes de la Commission Militaire établie en vertu de la Loy du quatre Prairial de l'an troisième, déposée au Greffe du Tribunal Criminel du Département de la Seine séant au Palais de Justice à Paris", collated and signed by the clerk Saussay and by Louis Gohier, president of the Tribunal| with 2 ink stamps of the Tribunal Criminel du département de Paris.
After announcing the names, titles and addresses of the eight "conspirators" (Romme, Duroy, Goujon, Forestier, Bourbotte, Duquesnoy, Soubrany and Peyssard), each accused is described in detail. Whereas Romme, Duquesnoy, Duroy, Bourbotte, Soubrany and Goujon "have shown themselves to be the disastrous authors, perpetrators and accomplices of the events that took place on the first day of Prairial. That they conspired against the Republic, provoked the dissolution of the National Convention and the assassination of its members. Undertaking by all means to organize the Revolt and the Civil War, to resurrect all the excesses, all the horrors of the tyranny which preceded the Ninth Thermidor"..., the Military Commission condemns them "to the death penalty".
