"Everything urges me to see this country again: the welcome I have been given| its excellent climate, which suits my health so well| the interesting things I have seen there| those I have yet to see, and the desire to see Your Highness again. So this is the first trip I shall be making"... He is pleased that the engineer Negrelli has attracted his attention: "he deserves it, as well as the confidence with which his government has honored him. I have no doubt that the eminent men involved in the great undertaking in which Your Highness is so keenly interested will be able to overcome all obstacles and bring it to a successful conclusion in the interests of the world and for the glory of the man whose government Egypt is so fortunate to enjoy"...
