He transmits to him the grievances of the Mayor of Neuilly "concerning the reform or rather the reduction of the Gendarmerie responsible for policing his large commune, as its territory is very extensive &| very important, since it extends in one direction from Villiers to Bagatelle, the object of special surveillance, &| in the other, from the Neuilly bridge to the barriers &| the Ternes which are part of it, in addition to the four communes of Courbevoye, Asnières, Colombe &| Gènevilliers [....] since the Neuilly brigade was raised to its current level, the thefts and crimes complained of previously have been greatly reduced, &| M. de la Bordère believes that the reform [...] would have the result of increasing them, by reducing the activity of surveillance on the rivers, main roads &| numerous cabarets"...
