At the top of the page, Saint-Ex noted André David's address in Beverly Hills. The portrait may be that of André David. [André DAVID (1899-1988), writer and journalist, founded the "Conférences des Ambassadeurs" to promote French culture. At the start of World War 2, he was able to take refuge in the United States, where he headed the Institut Français founded in Hollywood by Charles Boyer].
Under the drawing, Saint-Exupéry wrote: "St Ex 240 Central P".
