HUGNET Georges. (1906-1974).
MANUSCRIT partly autograph, Sous le jour surréaliste| 18 pages in-4, 8 of them autograph, in red ink on graph paper, with erasures and corrections.
The text was written by two hands, and appears to be an essay or a lecture. The title is in Georges Hugnet's hand| the other hand has not been identified. Despite a numbering error (no p.16), the manuscript is complete. "From now on, Surrealism, which will only be seen in quotation marks in theoretical and critical texts, adopts a definite meaning, a direction, and already establishes wills. Don't imagine that I'm looking for a date and place of birth. It stems from the marvellous, and as such, it has always existed"....
