Ford A Coupé Standard – 1930

In 1927, public attention was at its height as Ford presented the replacement for the legendary Model T... The Model A was introduced and won over the public with its almost futuristic lines, much more modern than those of the T, and its ultra competitive price, even for the economic crisis at the time: almost 4.8 million units were sold in 4 years!
Mechanically, the Ford A was a colossal leap into the future: twice as powerful engine (4-cylinder with side valves, rated at 40 hp and 65 mph), three-speed transmission, coil, battery and wheel brakes.
According to the manufacturer’s plate, this car was delivered new to the Fehr & Co dealer in Langegade, Denmark.
Our example appears to have undergone a very fine restoration in previous years, but the file was unfortunately mislaid by its current owner| on display since 2017, a mechanical overhaul will be in order before taking it out on the road again.
A great opportunity for a collector wishing to enter the world of the pre-war period with a well restored car, and for a very attractive price.
“An elegant, well-restored pre-war car at a reasonable price!”
