Presented at the 1979 Frankfurt Motor Show, the W126 marked a new style and introduced numerous safety innovations| produced from 1979 to 1991, it embodied the longest generation of S-Class sedans, with ten engine options available on short- and long-wheelbase bodies.
Sold new in Germany, our example belongs to phase 1, and was kept by its first owner until the early 2000s| it then entered
Mr. E.’s collection in 2008.
Today, with less than 124,000 km on the clock, it is in very good condition, with its silver-blue metallic bodywork and well-preserved bumpers.
The interior is also very well preserved, with gray fabric upholstery and carpets in good condition, woodwork in good condition and an electric sunroof.
Under the hood is a 185hp 6-cylinder engine with automatic gearbox| the flagship of the star brand for a whole decade, there’s still time to collect W126s before the price goes up.
