Studebaker Champion – 1950
Luxembourg registration title
Sold without contrôle technique
Produced from 1939 to 1959, the Studebaker Champion followed the trends of its era and underwent a number of stylistic changes| powered by an in-line 6-cylinder engine, it produced 85 hp in 1950.
The 1950 model took a marked turn for the better in terms of style, with French designer Raymond Loewy imposing the ‘bullet nose’ reminiscent of aircraft engines| with this bold look, these cars were to make their mark on American motoring history, becoming iconic models.
Our example was sold new to a teacher in Luxembourg, and entered the collection of Mr E. in 2018. It benefited from a superb restoration a few years ago and is now in very good condition.
The sky-blue paintwork is tightly stretched and the chrome is sparkling, all of which enhances the rounded curves of the bodywork| the engine bay and all the mechanical parts look very good, it’s worth noting that the engine simply needs to be restarted .
The interior has also been lovingly restored, with the sheet-metal dashboard in a beautiful metallic grey hue and fine chrome detailing| the upholstery, carpets and headlining are also in very good condition.
