We would like to thank Yannick Vu Jakober, the painter's daughter, who confirmed that the signature was indeed doubled by the painter, and that this work probably dates from 1950-1952, when he lived in Béziers.
A certificate of inclusion in the artist's catalog raisonné currently being prepared by Charlotte Aguttes-Reynier for the Association des Artistes d'Asie à Paris will be given to the purchaser.
