Agus Wakidi was an Indonesian painter active in the early 20th century. His work is essentially composed of paintings of volcanic landscapes. Here, he paints a view of the Sianok Canyon on the island of Sumatra.
The Merapi volcano in the background is bathed in light and dominates the landscape.

Agus Wakidi là một họa sĩ người Indonesia hoạt động vào đầu thế kỷ 20. Các tác phẩm của ông chủ yếu xoay quanh chủ đề phong cảnh núi lửa. Ở đây, ông vẽ về hẻm núi Sianok nằm trên đảo Sumatra. Ở phần hậu cảnh, ngọn núi lửa Merapi
