In 1934, Ngô Thế Tân, an agricultural engineer and artist in his spare time, married artist Lê Thị Lựu, a recent graduate of the Indochina School of Fine Arts (class III in 1932). The young couple settled in France in 1940, and Ngô Thế Tân retained a taste for art and creation, offering his paintings to a close circle.
