~ ATTRIBUÉ À JEAN-ANTOINE BELLETESTE (1731-1811)

In small rectangular display cases.
Dieppe, late 18th century.
Heights: 21 and 19 cm
Gross weight: 715 g each (Minor accidents, good overall condition)

Our two sculptures are very similar in treatment to the statuettes of the Four Seasons sculpted by Bellestre for Queen Marie-Antoinette and now in the Musée de Dieppe [Inv. D.959.1 to .4].
