Ordered new from Franco Britannic by Yves Saint Laurent in July 1974, this Silver Shadow has had only three owners to date| that same year, Yves Saint Laurent and Pierre Bergé set up their fashion house at 5 avenue Marceau in Paris
In the hands of its current owner since 1991, this Silver Shadow was initially ordered in a special optional colour, Chicassion Blue, with dark brown leather upholstery, as attested by the copy of the purchase invoice and the warranty certificate contained in its file
Repainted in the days of Yves Saint Laurent in a dark green metallic, it retains its beautifully patinated original upholstery| a chronic ailment on this model, some corrosion is on the rear wings, although this is not particularly serious (condition report available on request)
