Covered porcelain pot in famille rose enamels with "imperial wedding" decoration, on a coral background strewn with butterflies and dragon and phoenix reserves.
The base is marked Changchun Tongqing ("Let us celebrate eternal Spring together") in iron-red.

According to tradition, the porcelains featuring this auspicious design of dragons and phoenixes surrounding a double Xi character were commissioned for Emperor Tongzhi's wedding in 1872. A covered box with similar decoration is illustrated in "The Complete Collection of
