= Statue in gilded copper alloy representing a bodhisattva, possibly Manjusri, seated in vajrasana on a double lotiform base, hands in dharmachakra mudra (setting in motion the wheel of Buddhist Law), holding stems of lotus flowers blossoming near the shoulders, dressed in a fine dhoti and richly adorned with jewels, the serene face surmounted by a flowery crown framing a jeweled chignon. The sealed base is incised with a double vajra.
