Attached is a L.A.S. from René CHAR, Cannet March 29, 1937, to Irène HAMOIR and her husband Jean SCUTENAIRE (1 page in-8), sending them Eluard's poem: "Toujours à deux pas de la mer, mais le 'printemps' a tendance à faire lever de multiples hypothèques. [...] And here, as a pretext for sleep, is a little poem [...] with all my friendship - it's bigger and better than he is".
