Lock of mastery and its wrought iron keyflantern
The richly worked palate in the manner of a broken pediment temple. The entrance of lock hidden behind a flap with secret. It is flanked by two acanthus scrolls in relief and is crowned with a winged cherub head. The flap is decorated with a lion's head grimacing on a background of repercé engraved in scrolls (missing). The bottom of the palate is a pierced plate engraved with a chimera and a grotesque man.
On the reverse side the foncet is finely engraved with interlacing foliage and foliage scrolls with a grotesque figure in foot. Roosters and heads of etoquials finely chiseled. Headboard and head of pennes engraved.
Its key to lantern in wrought iron, the stem with double circular forging, bit in iron of axe with five openings and three wheels, the muzzle in comb with ten teeth. The rectangular boss with heart and openwork gadroons surmounted by a rose inscribed in a shrine flanked by two fleurons.
The four-sided lantern is pierced and is topped by a square section dome with a socket.
