Vehicle initially prepared by Franco de Paoli for the 1991 Paris-Moscow-Beijing Rally which never took place
Eventually entered for the Pharaohs Rally in Egypt, with a class victory in T2
Again entered for the 1993 Paris-Dakar after further preparation
The Range Rover was again used as a press vehicle on the 1995 Dakar before being re-civilised for almost daily use by Franco de Paoli
