First copy. One of the 25 off-market copies on vellum pur fil (n° XXV), from a total edition of 52. Edition illustrated with 16 full-page black drawings by Gen Paul, all enhanced with blue felt-tip and blue watercolor by GEN-PAUL. Each drawing is signed in felt pen. The artist has also made an original portrait of Celine in felt-tip and wash (7.8 x 7.5 cm), pasted on the title page.
Autographs of Céline on the title page: "To Charles Steiner. Very friendly L.F. Céline"| from GEN-PAUL on the false title: "to B. Valensi, all drawings enhanced by my hand. Gen Paul".
