2 floreal. " If the law on finances, citizen Consul, cannot be presented tomorrow, I wish it to be presented on the 6th or the 7th ". He waits for Tronchet and
Cambaceres the following day at Malmaison.
7 floreal. He sends him "a project for the legion of honor" and asks him to convene a council formed by Dumas, Dessolle, Régnier, Portalis and Roederer "and to charge them with the final drafting of the project. The
Rapporteur will be able to come during the day to Malmaison where I will explain to him the details of this project". This small council will discuss "if it must be the object of a Law or of a Regulation".

Tribunat and the Corps législatif at one o'clock ".
An autograph bill of BOURRIENNE, 23 floréal [70] is joined: " The
First Consul sends back the attached project to the Consul Cambaceres: he finds it very well " (1/4 page in-4).
