3 L.S. "Bonaparte", Yvrée 7 and 9 prairial VIII [27 and 29 May 1800], "to the Consuls of the Republic" CAMBACÉRÈS and LEBRUN| the letters are written by Bourrienne| 1 page in-4 each, vignettes engraved with the name of Bonaparte I Consul of the Republic. [16, 17, 18]
Three letters from Ivrea.
7 prairial. "I arrived yesterday evening at Yvrea| here we are finally in the center of Italy| in 10 days there will be much done. You will find enclosed a small bulletin which you can have inserted in the official journal, without signature. The general in chief [BERTHIER] will take care to write a report of the various events [...] All goes well. Before the end of Prairial I will be in Paris. Continue to maintain the peace there ".
He asks for news of the consul Lebrun, sick... 9 prairial. - He will answer them "more in detail when I will be 2 or three days fixed in a place. I am sending you a bulletin which will make you know the operations of the army| you can have it inserted in the official newspaper.
Everything here is going well. He adds with his hand: "Greetings aff" - "I leave in one hour, Citizens Consuls, to go to Vercelli. You will find enclosed the small bulletin of the army that you can have printed"...
