End Tabriz Djaffer (Iran) end of XIXe beginning XXe century. Workshop of the Master Djaffer. Velvet in silky lambswool of quality on cotton foundations. Density of about 8 500 knots per dm2. Small points of oxidation. Very nice freshness of colors. Good general condition. Brick field decorated with a large central medallion polylobed midnight blue inlaid with a floral composition cruciform polychrome, surrounded by two spearheads on a beige background forming four spandrels with multicolored floral bulbs. Six borders of which the main one is midnight blue with interlacing palmettes surrounded by fine crenellated stems in rings.
