Original and fine Kuba (Caucasus) late nineteenth century, circa 1880/1890. Wool velvet on wool foundation. Slight wear and natural oxidation. Small restoration. Decorated with triple octagonal medallions crenellated brick and Prussian blue inlaid with branches of floral buds in polychrome on golden yellow with seeded starry flowers surrounded by stylized knives. Triple borders of which the main bayadère: bands and stripes ivory and brick.
