Rare Koula (Asia Minor, Turkey) end of 18th century beginning of 19th century. Wool velvet on wool foundation. Fairly good condition. Carpet of prayer form. Slight natural oxidations. Good condition and remarkable freshness of colors. Marine field with mihrab decorated with a central tree with a composition of floral buds, surrounded by two stylized columns with geometric flowering plants. Nine borders of which the main one is ivory with interlacing flowers and stylized foliage.
