CLOCK " CATHEDRAL " in chased and gilded bronze with rich neogothic decoration| the openwork facade of a fenestration surmounted by a rose window forming a dial is flanked by columns with pinnacles enriched with tatuettes of characters in niches| it is topped by a bell with bells forming a small bell and rests on a stepped base.The clock is placed on a base with a doucine in veneer containing a large bell simulating the sound of a large bell. Dials with Roman numerals in Gothic lettering and signed Devaulx Palais Royal. France, 19th century, ca. 1840.
