"As for the works of Mr. de St. Victor, arrange things in such a way that, selling them for free on his behalf, the house is not at least exposed to losses"... Paris, June 27, 1825, to M. Desprelles: he treated the question on which he consulted him "in the last chapter of the 4th volume of the Essay on indifference. You will find there, I believe, all the clarifications you desire"... July 4 [1826 ?], to M. PIERQUIN, doctor at the Charité in Montpellier. He is very touched by her letter and her expression of esteem, and is happy to offer her a copy of his latest work. "If you know some people who wish to obtain it, I beg you to warn them that it is still available at the office of the Memorial, the seizure not having taken place"...
