Farcy what he thought of the project of system of his correspondent, "with all the frankness of which I make profession, and it is a language which I believed to owe to the confidence of you honoured me and to which I am one cannot be more sensitive. If, in spite of my opinion, which I am far from wishing to pass for a law", he persists in presenting his memoir to the Academy, he advises to address himself to CONDORCET, but he fears that he will not be welcomed there... - 4 September, to M. FRIEDLANDER, transmitting his answer to M. Kastner.
A long L.A.S. from the geologist Ami BOUÉ is attached, Edinburgh 3 October 1816, to Darcet: he works on his thesis on "the state of urine in health and in the different diseases", which requires many experiments, and of which he explains the plan.
