Autograph NOTES and DRAWINGS in pen and black ink, [ca. 1898]| 2 pages in-8 (folio 22.5 x 14.2 cm recto-verso| split and repair to gummed paper).
Sheet of pen-and-ink sketches and notes. "The cross chair [sketch] is extremely useful for beautiful poses they easily give the movements of sculpture Penseroso and a thousand others buy one for my model."
Then, in the margin of a sketch of the monument: "Puvis de Chavannes monument in stone" (on the death of the painter PUVIS DE CHAVANNES in 1898, a monument was commissioned from Rodin). Below, a drawing seems to be a sketch of the figure standing on the right of the monument.
Two drawings of faces and a sketch must relate to a painting by Filippo LIPPI, captioned: "portrait / Philippo Lippi Virgin / little Jesus carried by the angels adores his mother".
On the reverse, three drawings: sketch of a standing figure with a spear (?)| head in profile| Pieta (?)| at the bottom, a sketch in a rectangle, with caption: "Donatello Baptistery door".
