About his book project on Les Cathédrales de France. [Rodin's book will be published in 1914 by Armand Colin, with an introduction by Charles Morice].
He thanks the Hanotaux family for "the charming rest I have spent with you. The editor writes to me and I do not know what to tell him in my opinion nothing will be ready until after I have spent the winter and shown you my manuscripts. However, I must prepare them better for you. For it should be clearer"... He spent two days in La Ferté-Milon: "beautiful country, admirable castle, 2 churches with real untouched stained glass windows where I had the best revelation of the invention of oil painting and its origins. Rubens Tintoret all there"...
