... "I laugh at all the masters who do not laugh at themselves...
To lovers with full hands. Joy of madness. All the honor of the woman is put in her ass. Beware of thinking... I know well where she comes from but I don't know where she goes, I'm afraid of my room...Always despise her with the hope of admiring. Faith does not save. Uncertainty of the madman.
Isn't it cruel to let live? To walk ahead to precede... To think alone so as not to be stupid...The wise man always smiles. Churches give ideas of love...I hear nothing but beautiful things...
The farthest friend is always too close... Poets always lie... Oh how she loved to look in the mirror... Communists believe that iron is made for them... The generous man puts himself at the service of his feelings...Love does not forgive the lack of desire... A stream of diamonds. Hang it on the stars" ...
The second handwritten notebook titled "Chi-lo-sa ? Poems and thoughts" written in black ink is a variant with modifications and additions of the previous manuscript. 60 pages in-8 in a schoolbook. It is signed "Oh ideal bird / Francis Picabia / Rubingen / 25 August 1949". On the title page is this epitaph "to those who now have ideals, their ideals often cause remorse: for the ideal is a virtue of another time than honesty".
Exceptional set.
