Accordion album entitled "Zhangqian's Luohan Album", comprising eighteen ink wash and light colour paintings on silk, each depicting one of the eighteen luohan, and accompanied on the left-hand page by a calligraphy on paper evoking the luohan, the album preceded by two long calligraphies and ended by a third calligraphy, on the theme of the luohan Signed Zhangqian.
The third calligraphy bears a cyclical date Jisi of Qianlong (1749).
With two wooden plates covered with brocaded silk with repetitive geometric designs in brown on a blue background, one with title, and a formerly red silk cover, also bearing title.
