1964 SIMCA 1300
Basis of restoration
Original interior
Engine running
French registration
Chassis n° 7744227
Sold as is, without technical control
The Simca 1300 arrives in 1963 as a replacement for the Aronde. Its Italian style is more refined and fits well with the aesthetic trend of the moment. It inherited the 1300 Rush from the P60 which was reliable and responsive. It was soon joined by a sportier 1500 version. Its production will stop in 1967 for the benefit of the more modern 1301 and 1501 versions.
Our car was launched on December 9, 1964. It has been repainted many years ago in a different red color than its original white color. In the interior, the upholstery is made of vintage red skai and the doors are blue. The body and chassis show some perforating traces of corrosion in some places. From a mechanical point of view, the engine is running. This charming car will need to be restored before it can be driven on French roads again.
