The Simca 9 (Aronde) is presented on May 31, 1951 with excessively modern advertising campaigns for the time. On the technical side, the car is equipped with a 1221cc engine from Fiat. Its great originality is to be the first car of the brand entirely designed by Simca and it is also the first to receive a monocoque body. At the end of 1952, a station wagon version called Châtelaine will be available in the catalogue.

The car we are presenting is an Aronde Châtelaine type 90 P launched on September 30th 1958. It has been repainted a few years ago in a sky blue colour. Inside, the upholstery is made of brown leatherette. Traces of corrosion can be seen on the bodywork and chassis. From a mechanical point of view, the engine will need to be restarted. This very charming little station wagon is an interesting base for restoration.
