1965 PANHARD PL 17 B
L6 version
Attractive estimate
Aerodynamic styling
French registration
Chassis n° 2200255
Sold as is, without technical control
In the 1950s, the Panhard brand was one of the largest car manufacturers in France. The Dyna Z is replaced by the PL 17 in 1959. The style changes but the formula remains the same with a front flat-twin engine that drives this competitor of the Renault Dauphine and other small sedans. Its production will stop in 1965, shortly before the disappearance of the brand.
The car we present is a L6 version B, an evolution of the PL 17 released in 1964. Released on February 8, 1965, this car is now in bad condition. Traces of perforating corrosion can be seen on the body and on the chassis. Mechanically, the engine needs to be restarted. This car is an interesting part bank to complete another restoration project.
