1963 CITROËN AMI 6
Rotating motor
Part base
Original look
French registration
Chassis n° 9228658
Sold as is, without technical control
The Citroën catalogue of the mid 50's is quite limited. The 2CV is an alternative to the popular and cheap car, and the DS to the comfortable and revolutionary luxury car. The objective for the early 1960s was to add a mid-range model to these two models. In 1961 the Citroën Ami 6 was launched, with a more powerful engine and a more comfortable interior than the 2CV.
Our car was launched on October 17, 1963, and has a two-tone red and white paint job that was redone many years ago. Traces of perforating corrosion can be seen on the body and chassis. From a mechanical point of view, the engine is running and complete. This Ami 6 presents itself as an interesting parts bank accompanied by its grey card.
