One of the greatest French car myths is the result of multiple studies on a simple objective: to create a very small car (TPV), corresponding to the needs and means of the middle and rural classes. In 1948, after years of research, the 2CV is presented to the general public. 42 years and 5,114,961 units later, production stopped, leaving behind a page of French automotive history.

The 2CV Fourgonnette is the utility version of this French myth. Our example was delivered in November 1976 to Claude Durlent in Indre-et-Loire and will remain in the same family until 2017. It still comes with its red bar, its maintenance booklet, its user manuals and its spare keys. It has been repainted in green many years ago, there are traces of corrosion on its body and chassis. Its engine is not blocked but will have to be restarted.
