In 1955, the Sochaux-based company presents the replacement of the 203 : the 403. This popular model will be available in different versions: saloon, estate, cabriolet, van and covered van. Production ended in 1966 after more than 1,200,000 units were produced.
The example we are presenting here was put on the road on May 23, 1957. Its body has a black paint that was redone several years ago. The interior is not very well preserved and some parts like the center of the steering wheel are missing. The car is equipped with a sunroof, and still has its original user manual. There are some perforating corrosion marks on the body and the chassis. From a mechanical point of view, the engine will have to be restarted. Here is a 403 sedan that will satisfy someone looking for a restoration project.
