Just after the Second World War, the Sochaux-based company launches a new flagship: the Peugeot 203. Its success is immediate, and it will be available in several versions: station wagon, cabriolet, coupé, van and pick-up. Nearly 700,000 units were produced in 12 years.

The example presented here is a pick-up version with a tarpaulin, put on the road on July 7, 1953 in Haute-Marne. The grey paintwork is certainly original and has a nice patina, as does the interior which is also in its original state. Traces of perforating corrosion can be seen on the body and chassis. From a mechanical point of view, the engine will have to be restarted, but it is not blocked. This car with its inimitable patina is an interesting basis for restoration.
