At the 1925 Paris Motor Show, under the nave of the Grand Palais, André Citroën presents the new B10. This car conceals a major innovation, as it inaugurates the "all-steel" body, following the licence (and the tools) given by the American company Budd. In 1929, the C4 finally offered a more modern and balanced design, anchored in the coming decade. Its engine, 40% more powerful, was also more robust thanks to a 3-bearing crankshaft. This is also the year that the new commercial interior design appears, which corresponds to the current shape of our station wagons. "Two cars in one", the advertisement says. "Elegant car with removable rear seat and upholstery that can be instantly transformed into a van for a 500 kg payload, ideal for industrialists, shopkeepers, farmers, camping or hunting enthusiasts, for rural owners far from any station..." The car we are presenting was owned by Maurice and Gilbert Bataille, famous stuntmen, seen in many films, notably under the direction of Rémi Julienne. This C4, which was probably partially restored in the 1990's, is to be finished. Its engine is not blocked.
