TRISTAN Flora (1803-1844)
L.A.S. "Flora Tristan", [Paris] February 24 [1837], to Henri FOURNIER, bookseller| 1 page and a half in-8 on green paper with her number, address.
Very rare letter as she seeks to publish her Peregrinations of a pariah.
She is very angry at the misunderstanding: "I waited for you from 4 to 5 o'clock as was agreed between you and my old friend. I attribute this lack of speech to the wrong tems. Before handing you my manuscript I would like to have a chat with you. This is even indispensable.
If we agree on the conditions I will immediately give you the first volume which is all copied"... She gives her address "100 bis rue du Bac".
