JAPON PÉRIODE EDO, XVIIIE – XIXE SIÈCLE
A brown and black lacquered wooden four-square inlay, inlaid on one side with a circular gilt metal plate, incised with Kaguya-hime among clouds, the other side decorated in takamaki-e with rabbits leaping over foaming waves. With a coral spherical ojime and a wooden netsuke representing a figure sitting in meditation in front of a table where a cup is placed.
Mark under the lid.
