Black lacquer four-square inro with hiramaki-e and takamaki-e decoration of Japanese maple leaves, a shô musical instrument (mouth organ), and probably a musician or actor hat. Spherical ojime made of gold lacquered wood. Netsuke in deer horn representing a mobile metal spider on a basket-like element.
Black lacquered interior and fundame.
Signed Jokasai under the inro.
